Front-End Programmer

Hi, I'm Emily. I'm a Computer Science graduate from California State University, Fullerton, currently sharpening my front-end skills in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript and I'm going to learn React next.

I got into programming because I wanted to make video games. I enjoyed making fun experiences for myself and others. Along the way, I discovered I loved the front-end side of things even more: the mix of logic and visual design that goes into building interfaces people actually use. That curiosity led me toward web development, and I haven't looked back since.

What I love about web development is that it's equal parts problem-solving and creativity. Every project is a little puzzle with a visual payoff.

When I'm not coding, I like to spend time playing video games and learning Japanese.

Feel free to check out my projects, or reach out. I'd love to connect!
